Privacy Policy

Our customers’ privacy is of fundamental importance to us.

We want to make your experience on the Internet as comfortable and rewarding as possible. That is why MyPA has developed a privacy policy that enables you to take full advantage of the Internet’s possibilities with complete confidence and trust that your private information is securely protected. Because certain personal information is necessary for providing you with some of MyPA services, we want you to understand the terms and conditions of our collection and use of that information.

MyPA gathers two types of information about our customers:

Personal data, which is provided when you register for our service.
Aggregate data, which tracks our customers as a whole.
Personal Data

When you register with MyPA, we ask for your basic contact information (such as name, address and phone number) to provide you with the most effective service. After you become a customer, we use this when fulfilling requests and, manage your account for billing purposes. Where third parties (i.e., vendors recommended or suggested), are involved we do not disclose any of your personal information except where needed to deliver a product or service you ordered. We do not disclose your credit card number or any financial information. We do not disclose information that would link your screen names with your actual name. We do not sell or trade your personal information to third parties. We strongly encourage our vendors that we recommend to have their own privacy controls in place to protect your private information.

Aggregate Data

Aggregate tracking information helps us determine which areas of our web site users like and dislike, based on traffic to those pages. Our system automatically gathers data about the areas customers visit. However, we track MyPA customer activity as a whole, rather than on an individual basis. Our system does not identify you personally, but rather, along with the general Internet traffic of any given page. For example, MyPA does not track what you read, but rather, the overall performance (i.e. traffic) of each page. This translates into improved services for our customers. Additionally, our system tracks your IP address, which we use to diagnose problems with our server and to administer our web site. This information is automatically generated when you use our service and is strictly for internal use. Individual names and personal information is not disclosed to third parties.

Exceptions

MyPA will not share or disclose your personal information except (a) when required by law or legal process, (b) in emergencies where someone’s safety is at risk, (c) when, in our sole discretion, we believe it reasonably necessary to protect MyPA’s rights or property or (d) when a customer is violating MyPA Service Agreement and disclosure is required. This policy does not apply to third party web sites, newsgroups and other public forums linked to MyPA’s customer site. Our customer site may contain links to other sites, chat rooms, forums, message boards and newsgroups. MyPA’s is not responsible for the privacy practices, content or use of private information obtained by any of the aforementioned groups. We urge our customers to use caution when deciding to disclose private information to third party sites or public forums. Be sure to review the privacy policy of any third party site before disclosing any private information and contact them directly if you have any questions. While MyPA will act diligently to maintain the security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent against third party “hackers” from illegally accessing your personal information.
